Concussion safety is taken very seriously here at Maple Leaf Sport & Entertainment. It is critical that coaches, parents, and athletes are aware of the symptoms of a concussion, as well as the protocol to follow when a concussion is expected. LUMENUS MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

Lumenus Community Services offers mental health counselling to youth and their families in the hub of Launchpad. MLSE Launchpad has a vision to connect physical and mental health while reducing the stigma associated with asking for help for mental health issues. As a partner with Launchpad, Lumenus on-site Community Services provides immediate support or intervention where required to members of underserved communities. For more information, CLICK HERE.

JUMPSTART

Jumpstart is more than getting kids active. It is about providing children and their families the financial means to participate in sports and the same level as their classmates, neighbors, and friends. Jumpstart offers Individual Child Grants to help families access a range of activities. To be eligible for funding, families must meet certain financial criteria as per Revenue Canada’s Low-Income Cut Off’s. For more information, CLICK HERE.

NATIONAL COACHING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) provides a pathway for coaches to train, expand, and develop their coaching skills. The program reaches 65 sports, providing standardized, inclusive, and safe sport education to coaches. You can earn NCCP points through the attendance of our Raptors Coaches Open House!
